The Wargadud Environmental Protection Group (WEPG) is a community-based organization (CBO) founded by passionate residents of Wargadud, Mandera County, Kenya, who share one goal — to protect and restore our natural environment.

We are committed to promoting sustainable living, environmental awareness, and climate action through local initiatives such as tree planting, water conservation, waste management, and green livelihoods.

WEPG unites youth, women, and community leaders to take real, lasting action in protecting nature for present and future generations.
We believe that environmental protection is not just a responsibility, but a shared duty that connects every individual to the well-being of the planet. Through education and hands-on participation, we are cultivating a culture of environmental stewardship where communities recognize their vital role in safeguarding natural resources.
